Job Title: A&P Mechanic

Salary: $28-$36/hr (higher hourly rate awarded to *highly* experienced candidates)

We are seeking an A&P Mechanic responsible for performing all facets of maintenance and repairs to aircraft to ensure airworthiness and proper technical documentation.

Three shifts available, all Monday-Friday:

First shift: 7am-3:30pm

Second Shift (+$2 hourly): 2pm-11pm

Third Shift (+$5 hourly): 10:30pm-7:30am

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, small repairs, troubleshooting and line maintenance on a variety of mid-sized jet, turbo jets, and propeller-driven aircraft.
• Work in a team environment under a Repair Station to the highest FAA standards.
• Attend Annual Re-Current Training as required.
• Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Director of Maintenance.

Work Environment:

This position works inside a hangar and outside in all types of weather conditions and requires direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. The position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Physical Demands:

• Communicate with customers and employees in person, on the phone, and through radio communications.
• Position requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Good physical condition, frequent lifting, carrying weight up to 35 pounds, and occasional pushing/pulling weights up to 100 pounds.
• Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
• Outside work in all types of weather conditions.
• Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a non-exempt position that includes shift work, which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays, as well as overtime when necessary.
• Travel: Occasional travel is expected for this position.
• Required Education and Experience:
• A&P Mechanic certification.
• Prior aircraft ground handling experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Participate in DOT drug and alcohol screening program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $50.00 per hour
