The Controller will work closely with the Owner and will be heavily involved in managing all accounting, financial functions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee daily, monthly and year-end aspects of the accounting
• Manage financial systems and maintain accurate financial records
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for internal purposes as well as tax and GAAP requirements
• Preparation and management of continuous cash flow projections and related analysis
• Prepare and maintain monthly and annual company projections
• Prepare work papers and supporting documents for annual and periodic audits
• Prepare supporting documentation for annual corporate federal and state tax returns
• Maintenance of all banking, insurance and loan accounts including annual renewals and audits
• Perform technical accounting issue research and resolution as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR FORMAL TRAINING, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND/OR SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting

CPA desired, but not required

Minimum 7 years related experience required

Proficient in GAAP

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
