Your Role
Be at the core of our Finance Working Capital team within the Accounts Payable spectrum. With proactive financial and stakeholder management, you will be the driver of matters within Accounts Payable in accordance to targets and compliance requirements.Your Responsibilities
- Overseeing the accounts payables spectrum
- Preparation of vendors/ suppliers account reconciliation and investigation
- Processing trade and non-trade suppliers payment
- Preparation of expenses schedule and accruals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure DPO target are met
- Ensure all financial reporting requirements are provided in complete requirements, accurately and timely.
- Provide reports and analysis for management as required.
- Prepare information and documentation for auditing purposes
- Liaise with vendors/ suppliers in a professional and timely manner as required.
- Manage vendors/ suppliers escalations in a manner that provides explanations and puts the customer at ease.
- Take appropriate corrective action and ensure a reoccurrence of similar issues are prevented.
- Comply with all company quality & OHS requirements at all times.
- To be aware of the responsibilities of employee’s in relation to OHS.
- Follow all procedures and reporting requirements in relation to the company OHS policies and working instructions.
- Report incidents and hazards as per the relevant working instructions
Your Skills and Experiences
- Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in an AP function or related field. Experience within Freight Forwarding/
- Logistics will be an added advantage.
- Dynamic individual who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven organizational skills to handle, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
- Good communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders across different levels.
