JOB SUMMARY

This is the intermediate level job. Acquires and develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform tasks for conventional products. Exercises limited judgment. Works on small projects or portions of larger projects. Assists on other tasks or performs moderate design tasks. Receives close supervision, and thorough review of all work performed for application of sound professional judgment. Ensure that Weatherford and customer requirement are met by maintaining a high standard of professionalism, quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of engineering related work for products and services related to decommissioning operations

Responsibilities and duties:
1. Assist in the design and documentation of required equipment and products, including structural, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems using computer design software and engineering principals
2. Work with Weatherford engineering, operations, maintenance and facility personnel along with customers and third-party personnel as necessary to provide sustaining services for existing equipment and to support field projects
3. Provide engineering support for logistics, planning and implementation of project load out operations
4. Prepare standard operating procedures and technical information for equipment and systems
5. Specify system components or products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
6. Develop, coordinate and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs
7. Work with the maintenance department to prepare and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule and supply of materials required to maintain equipment in operating condition
8. Document mechanical and structural issues with field equipment and reviews and recommends design modifications to reduce equipment malfunctions
9. Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
10. Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
11. Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
12. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
