Job description

Assigned with determination of project schedule by studying project plan and sourcing material specification.  Responsible to create new BOM into system and for RFQ.  Responsible to provide new assembly board, new equipment jigs & fixtures, new gages, testing equipment.  Prepare check list, kitting material and verify incoming material to ensure tally with Customer requirement.  Prepare sample, verify, electrical check, prepare Inspection report and delivery to Customer.  Prepare for New Product Introduction (NPI); Initial Submission Inspection Report (ISIR), Dyson Part Approval Process (DPAP), Process Flow (PF), Control Plan (CP), RoHS certificate, COC, SGS Test Report for new products.  Determines project specification by studying products, design, customer requirement, standard time completing technical study, preparing drawing, cutting length, Work Instruction (WI), equipment tools, gauge (testing equipment requirements) and fixture for new project.  Update supplier’s RoHS declaration and renewal.  Provide training to technician, production and quality team to achieve Customer product requirement.  Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information, researching and modifying engineering techniques, recommending solutions, and preparing drawing, sample, and proposal.  Conducting Engineering Change Note (ECN) meeting with all the relevant department and implement the ECN effectively.  Require extensive regular contact with assigned projects with customers.  Ensure effective engineering and customer’s communications.  Participating in customers meeting and resolving customer management project issues.  Accountable for the successful completion of all allocated projects.  Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.  Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
