**This position is expected to last thru October 2023 for the regular Major League Baseball Season. A change or extension will be based on business needs**

Primary Objective: Responsible for warehouse and assisting with shipping and receiving functions on the loading dock. Will assist with the Mailroom and office services as needed.


Essential Functions
:

  • Responsible for storage of all items in warehouse, with emphasis on safety and quality control.
  • Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or other locations by hand or use of a forklift.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory. Record amount received and distributed via appropriate computer program.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory and securing items always stored in warehouse. Ensure contents are secure and conform to the Washington Division of Industrial Safety.
  • Move material or items from the receiving or storage areas to designated locations.
  • Assist on the loading dock in loading and unloading of vehicles & contents by hand and or forklift.
  • Receive and process incoming material. Promptly check-in and inspect incoming shipments of material, equipment and supplies to ensure compliance with purchase order specifications.
  • Distribute items as required to individuals throughout the ballpark: Supplies, equipment, giveaway items, banners, furniture, mail, etc.
  • Must be willing to adhere to necessary guidelines and controls to protect confidential information. Employee will often work with or will be exposed to information or products that must be kept confidential in order to protect the Club’s interest.
  • Must be aware that along with confidentiality, they will handle items, cargo or products of a high dollar value and will be dealt with as proprietary information.
  • Operate a variety of equipment and machinery on the premises such as forklift, stock chaser, rolling stock ladder, hand trucks, driving carts, and pallet jacks.
  • Assist in the Mailroom when the need arises. Will be required to learn and facilitate all aspects of the Mailroom. This position will be cross trained to help in the Mailroom when needed.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • A minimum of six (6) months experience in an office administration role or environment preferred.
  • Current, valid driver’s license required.
  • Forklift certified preferred.

Competencies,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Concur, as well as receiving software on the dock.
  • Ability to catalog contents and maintain records as required. Knowledge of principles and procedures of record keeping for warehouse, dock and mail room will be required.
  • Competent in required job skills and knowledge. Completes work assignments thoroughly and completely in an accurate, and prompt manner. Identifies and corrects errors. Is careful, alert and accurate, paying attention to details of the job.

  • Must be detailed oriented as required for mail processing.
  • Must learn to process mail utilizing various mail machines and software.

Physical Activities and Working Conditions:
  • When working as back-up on the dock, must operate a variety of equipment and machinery on the premises such as forklift, stock chaser, hand trucks, driving carts, and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move at least 75 lbs.
