GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for internal and external advertisement on job vacancies with prior instruction / consent from the Manager, Human Resources. Recruitment and selection of local / foreign workers to meet company’s requirement. Responsible for the work permits of foreign workers. Ensure the permits are renewed on time and according to the government regulations. Oversee the services of 2 main canteens in AM and NP. Ensure that the foods provided to employees are of good standard. Controls the price of food served to employees are according to company’s approved list. Handles first aid cases in the factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. End-to-end Recruitment and selection cycle of local & foreign workers (FW) to meet company’s requirement.

2. Managing employee life cycle, both local & foreign workers (FW), which include but not limited to, performace assessment administraion, promotions, confirmations, disciplinary action, training need analysis, training coordination, medical, Sosco & insurance, FW's work permit applicaion, etc.

3. Provide advice and information to management and employees on human resource policies and procedures, including equal opportunity, discrimination equality and occupational health and safety programs.

4. Act as an employee go-to person, HR advisor for work related matters, career development, and industrial matters, etc.

5. Vendor's management, i.e. company bus services, canteen management hostel management.
