Primary Objective:

• Assist in the execution of audit plan/ other assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• To complete audit tasks within the targeted timeline and provide the results to the superior.
• Assess, evaluate and review the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls and risk management practices implemented by the auditees.
• Raise audit issues and make appropriate recommendations for improvement in each audit assignments.
• Clear all queries/ review issues raised by Audit Manager/Audit Lead/FA Head.
• Participate in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) exercise to ensure appropriate internal controls are incorporated.
• To carry out administrative tasks as assigned by Functional Area Head.
• Attend to completion of electronic Working Paper (EWP) in the Audit Management System (AMS) and filing of hardcopy of supporting documents within the specified time.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
• Attend courses and trainings as recommended by the superior.

Requirements:

Degree in accounting, applied statistics, actuarial science or quantitative/mathematic fields.

Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):

• At least 1 year experience in model validation/ review, ICAAP, regulatory capital reporting, credit risk rating system, Basel III reporting or MRS9 modeling.
• Basic knowledge of Basel II & III, Base Rate, Risk Informed Pricing or MFRS 9.

Other skills required:

• Analytical skills, meticulous, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of internal control principles / practices, banking activities, risk management, credit evaluation, corporate governance and statutory regulations.
