Job description
- Operate boilers in such a way that high efficiency is obtained and conforms to the safety standards and regulations of machinery department (DOSH)
- Periodically checks during production and non-production periods all steam distribution systems including pressure reducing stations/valves, safety valves and steam traps
- Involve in the annual inspection activities with regards to the maintenance, checking, repair and commissioning
- Record all the steam, gas, water software consumptions generated from the boiler supplied to the plant
- Carry out frequent service, maintenance and inspection to all the machinery on the boiler house
- Carry out calibration for the portable water treatment analysis kit such as pH meter and TDS meter
- Keep the boiler house, evaporator and diesel tank yard clean and neat
