Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the facility equipment/ systems/ activities related to steam and gas for our manufacturing facility.
• Ensure overall safety on boiler and boiler man.
• Ensure legal compliance on steam facilities and activities per DOSH (JKKP) and audit requirements.
• Able to troubleshoot and provide engineering support and solutions on operations, and preventive maintenance for steam-related facilities.
• Control and monitor boiler performance which includes boiler water chemical treatment, boiler operation upkeep and safety.
• Keep an accurate and complete boiler operation record in the log book.
• Ensure pressure and temperature are within the requirements set by the Line operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspection and visual checks of ignition, piping, electrical system, and other necessary checks for abnormal conditions and record all findings in a checklist.
• Conduct softener cleaning operations duty when necessary.
• Conduct cooling tower water level monitoring and control with chemical treatment
• Ensure safety and health procedures are complied with at all times.
• To perform any other task assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• SPM/STPM/Diploma
• More than 3 years of experience handling boiler
• Candidate must POSSES Boilerman Grade 1 or 2 certificate from DOSH.
• Able to work on shift rotation.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,076.84 - RM3,312.50 per month
