Purpose of this job

  • The Branch Manager’s key responsibility focusses on customer, quality services and productivity level within the branch

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the profitability of the Branch as well as to achieve the critical financial numbers.
  • Ability to translate company business strategy to operation plan and execute to achieve the desirable outcome.
  • Define strategy to manage the development of profitable revenue growth through developing existing customers and acquiring new customers.
  • Fulfil and exceed customer expectations by providing the highest possible service quality to customers.
  • Responsible for strong growth of the Branch and maximal utilization of business potential.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of operational standards to meet customer requirements.
  • Responsible for the financial results and the continuous supervision of the financial status including activities I the field of accounting, financial controlling and strategic planning of the Branch.
  • Responsible for the standard operating procedure, structures, systems and adhere with management decisions.
  • Manage productivity and profitability the day-to-day operations, quality of the services as well as development of skills manpower.
  • Responsible to work closely with all Head of Department (HOD) and products CEO (Head of Products) to achieve the performance of the branch.
  • Responsible for the supervision of personnel matters, with emphasis on staff training and career planning in cooperation with HR personnel.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and high accountability Good ability to plan strategically, extensive skills to integrate and coordinate resources across functions and borders.
  • High result orientation and customer focus.
  • At least 8 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.
  • Has work experience in a global forwarding / logistics company.
  • Good strategic and planning skills.
  • Candidate with solid experience in FCL, LCL consolidations, or the forwarder market to major ports will have a advantage.
  • Preferable candidates who have exposure in MNC and/or public listed company.
  • Priority will be given to those candidates who are able to start work immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
