Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Assists and accompanies patients from waiting room and prepares patients for examination.
- Assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records or inputs information to patients' medical record.
You’ll be a fit for this Role if you have:
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent bedside manner and ability to make patients feel at ease. Appears friendly, reassuring and approachable to patients.
- Ability to take instruction from a doctor/nurse.
- Familiarity with medical charts and records.
- High attention to detail.
Experience:
- Medical Assistant Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of medical experience (preferred)
- Electronic Medical Records experience (preferred)
