The role:
We are looking for an experienced HR Shared Services Specialist to join our high performing team in Center Of Excellence (COE) in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
As the HR Shared Services Specialist, you will:
- Oversee and execute timely HR Operation transactional services, ie. Employee Life Cycle, Monitoring, Masterdata, Benefits, Reporting, etc.)
- Review and streamline HR Operations services to harmonize Malaysia workflow and procedures to Global standard
- Document process changes and communicate it to all affected interfaces and deliver information for knowledge management and portal
- Execute people services strategy, manage service issues and escalation, and participate in Global projects, creating outstanding employee experience
- Identify local needs & improvement opportunities, continuously drive system automation & digitalization to maximize local deliverables & impact.
- Other projects or tasks as assigned.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Diploma or Degree with 2-4 years in Shared Services Environment, preferably 1 year experience in Tier 2 level, knowledge in Workday and Service Now
- Passionate with both frontline and backend support and has good internalization on HR work processes and customer engagement
- Good knowledge on Malaysia employment regulations, and any 1-2 other APAC or European countries’ operations is an advantage
- A structured and process-oriented person that is resilience and adaptable to work in a fast-pace environment to build the new HR Operations framework
- Resourceful, independent and has the capability to rapidly learn new systems and processes and exhibit an openness to change
- Able to prioritize based on service level agreements, urgency, and level of impact to the business.
