GENERAL FUNCTION
As an Internal Communications Specialist for EssilorLuxottica Professional Solutions North America, you will ensure the company mission, vision and priorities are woven through all materials to continue to build the culture. Reporting directly into the Sr. Director of Internal Communications, you will be tasked with developing and editing communications for the business.
This role requires an effective communicator and a strong collaborator. The right candidate embodies the ability to actively engage with and have a finger on the pulse of the business, turning their findings into content that can be used across a wide variety of channels, from intranet postings and newsletters to company-wide emails. They must be able to tell the story of our business in a creative and compelling way in an effort to further build and strengthen EssilorLuxottica’s employee culture.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for developing content for the Company intranet.
- Source, draft and edit content for internal newsletters and company-wide emails.
- Coordinate and design presentation draft collateral for quarterly Town Halls and other internal events.
- Help in supporting all internal communications projects across business units and corporate functions.
- Support internal events that inform and engage employees.
- Manage IC budget and vendor relationships.
- Regularly measure effectiveness of the team’s communication channels to ensure we’re maximizing our resources.
- Manage the communications mailbox and answer employees promptly.
- Responsible for calendar management for the communications team.
- Manage distribution list to ensure communications are sent to the correct audiences in a timely matter.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Internal Communications experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in Communications or related discipline
- Superior writing and editing skills, knowledge of Content Management Systems, Adobe Suite and ability to write in a variety of styles/voices
- Presentation creation and graphic design/media experience
- Exceptional project management skills with proven ability to plan, develop and deliver content
- Ability to exercise good judgment and work well under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment where change is a constant
- Proven track record of establishing strong working relationships and rapport with executives, business partners and colleagues
- Strong work ethic and trustworthiness
Pay Range: $ - $65860.00
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package Benefits/Incentive Information including health benefits, PTO, 401K, paid family leave, tuition reimbursement, and eyewear discounts.
