Job Responsibilities:

• Perform month end closing via preparation of close package including journal entries, inventory movements adjustments, labour and overhead costs calculations on timely basis.
• Analysis of production costs including working with operations in preparing commentary notes explaining highlights and concerns together with presentation of those findings to senior management.
• Gather and compile production data for plant manager in a timely manner and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Always ensure costs are control within agreed budget and compliances of cost allocation to financial standard.
• Ensure accuracy and timely respond to cost enquiry.
• Involvement of inventory count activities at different site of the company and be responsible and ensure accuracy of the company quarterly and annual inventory count exercise.
• Prepare monthly cost variances report and carry out the details analysis when necessary to respective department for improvement.
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required by the management as and when required.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Strong MS Office skills especially MS Excel.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Strong in communication and the ability to explain findings to costing manager.
• Preferably Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Candidates must be able to work at Batang Kali.
