How You'll Make a Difference:

Our Data Analytics team is seeking a Data Visualization Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards that help our team members easily understand and interact with complex data. The ideal candidate will have experience in data visualization tools and techniques, as well as strong communication skills to work with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective visualizations that meet those needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data visualization needs
• Build and execute both simple and complex queries and manipulate data to answer business questions
• Design and create data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI that effectively communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner
• Solves well defined analytical problems independently; delivers assignment/projects timely and accurately; collaborates with other analytical team members effectively; presents analyses effectively to analytical audience
  
• Continuously research and evaluate emerging data visualization tools and techniques to ensure the team is utilizing the latest advancements
• Participate in team meetings and presentations to share insights and recommendations based on data visualizations

Qualifications/Skills:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or another quantitative field, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building, implementing, and supporting Tableau data visualizations. Tableau Certifications are encouraged (or relative degree).
• Advanced skill in Data Interpretation, Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis
• Advanced skill in SQL and querying (able to pull/transform your own data)
• Understanding of large datasets, business/technical requirements, BI tools, statistical programming languages and libraries
• Advanced skill in communicating actionable insights using data to technical and non-technical audience
  
• Experience in healthcare analytics with a focus on complex querying, data analysis or related field.
