Role Perpose

Support the WES program to enable delivery of timely and accurate reporting which will assist in decision making. The role will support the program with the necessary backup and analytics as required. The role is to support in development and implementation of value-add planning and analysis tools, in addition the role is responsible for the continuous improvement on process and system of WES savings initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Advise and support key stakeholders in relation to tracking actual savings reported.
  • Advise and support system and process matters that may impact WES savings target and the ability to report timely and accurately
  • To advise and engage with key stakeholders, in particular Senior Group Director WES, WES functional stream directors, Finance director, Senior FP&A manager.
  • Assist to develop and implement effective reporting and analysis to improve understanding of actual and forecast performance, to drive future financial performance.
  • Assist Senior FP&A Manger with rollout and implementation of consistent and unified reporting.
  • Support actual vs. target monthly and weekly processes and ensure integrity of data entered into integrator & value tracker.
  • Prepare or support the preparation of and distribute weekly transformation report, monthly Steerco report, and analysis to relevant stakeholders
  • Measure key KPIs and performance drivers of various functions under WES program.
  • Ad hoc analysis and tasks as directed.
Timely & accurate support to the leadership team in the delivery of Actual vs. Target savings (FTE & cost)
Centralization & harmonization of critical business reporting requirements through participating in forums and highlighting concerns.
Resposibilities:
  • A qualified accountant with a track record of success and financial reporting experience across FPA and/or commercial support.
  • Proven experience working with Financial systems, a logical thinker with track record understanding finance processes. Example: resolving mapping issues within systems and processes.
  • Experience in a large publicly traded company, multi-location / international environment (similar industry/sector is advantageous).
  • Implement and monitor processes, to deliver improved analytics to the business to support management decisions.
  • Ability to flex between a strong eye for the detail and recognising the bigger picture.
  • Promote awareness on financial integrity and internal controls within Finance.
  • Ensure compliance with WorleyParsons policies and procedures. Supports internal and external Audit processes.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in relation to People - Process - Technology
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with a large ERP environment such as Oracle and Hyperion would be highly regarded
  • Experience in Power BI would be desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
