DBA Administrator - Senior

Salary Range: RM12,000 - RM14,000

Location: KL

This role requires you to function as a Level 3 technical support function. You are required to design, develop, support and Manage DB platforms such as MYSQL, MSSQL, Cloud RDS, and Postgres databases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support, advice, and implementation to the various phases of development (DEV), user acceptance testing (UAT), production (PROD), and disaster recovery (DR) where applicable for all database systems
• Responsibilities for this job role include, but are not limited to, installation and maintenance of the database system, installation of upgrades and patches, performance, and capacity monitoring & management, Backup & restore, and security compliance. Support live DR test due to regulatory and audit needs. Expertise in Query optimization
• Potential interaction with internal stakeholders in order to understand and meet requirements for the delivery of services related to database products.

Technical skills:

• MUST HAVE Oracle database administration experiences.
• Manage all databases under Technology team.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
• Monitor system's health and performance.
• Creation and Maintenance of Database Instances.
• Install, configuring, applying patches to database servers.
• Knowledge in Replication, Log Shipping, Clustering.
• Schema Object, Partition Management, Index Management.
• Demonstrate proactiveness and team playing skills
• Follow the IT service management guideline while working with tools.
• Document best practices and maintain the knowledge base

Job Requirement:

• Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology
• Preferably at least 5 years of related working experience.
• Good communication skills in the English language for both spoken and written

Salary: RM12,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
