Job description
As a Roof Loader/Helper at Beacon, you will load and unload building materials at multiple job sites locally and ensure smooth, on-time delivery of products.

What will my day-to-day look like?
- Participates in manually loading orders on outgoing trucks by repetitive lifting of up to 75+ lbs.
- Accompany driver to job site; assist driver by guiding truck onto and off of customer’s property to avoid damage.
- Participants in the proper unloading of materials to roof by repetitive lifting or using conveyor at job sites.
- Maintain cleanliness and neatness of warehouse, which could include cleaning and painting.
- Assists customers in loading vehicles.
- Count, verify and manually unload incoming orders and shipments.
- Maintain inventory in appropriate/designated storage areas in warehouse.
What are the requirements?
- Must be a self-starter, dependable and a team player.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75+ pounds frequently throughout the day
- Must have reliable transportation to work each day.
- Must be able to physically and safely deliver products on roof.
- Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations, put safety first and utilize all provided PPE
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Will need to access rooftops for specific deliveries
