As an FAA Part 135 charter certificate operator, Fly Alliance focuses on high quality service to customers in the areas of aircraft sales, management, charter, maintenance, parts, and consulting. Fly Alliance Maintenance has field operations in New York, Miami, Orlando and Stuart, Florida focusing on high quality service to customers in aircraft maintenance. Finally, Fly Alliance Parts is an aircraft parts sales company based in Orlando, Florida focusing on aircraft parts, specifically, engine sales and leases, aircraft parts and rotable sales.
Role Objective:
The primary function is to oversee the overall financial analysis and accounting process, developing and implementing financial procedures to maintain and improve the financial health of the organization. The Director of Finance will be responsible for taking a leadership role in financial decision-making and providing strategic financial input to senior management.
Essential Job Tasks:
- o Manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that all financial operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- o Oversee financial operations including cash receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing, inventory, fixed assets, banking and investments.
- o Develop forecast models and maintain budgets in accordance with strategic business development objectives, ensuring that all financial goals are met and that resources are allocated appropriately.
- o Conduct daily, weekly and monthly financial analysis and generate reports that direct management attention to areas of concern, and which accurately reflect the financial performance and financial position of the organization at all time.
- o Manage internal financial controls and accounting policies and procedures.
- o Maintain proper security and confidentiality of financial systems and records.
- o Propose revenue and expense action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained.
- o Maintain compliance with State and Federal program minimum standards, generally accepted accounting principles and tax laws.
- o Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial health of the company.
- o Maintain the general ledger, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- o Lead the month-end close process, ensuring that all financial reports are completed on time and that all necessary adjustment are made.
- o Provide financial analysis and support to other departments within the company.
- o Communicate financial plans to senior management and staff clearly and effectively.
- o Prepare final year-end financial statements, notes to financial statements and supporting schedules for audit.
- o Prepare and file the annual IRS and related tax forms.

Work Environment:
- Work is generally performed within an office environment at the company office in Orlando, Florida with standard office equipment available.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 25-50% of the time.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside and outside of the office.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Constantly operate a telephone requiring oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication.
- Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently.
Travel:
- Limited travel may be required. Travel will be as needed between the Stuart hangar and the Ocoee office.
Required Education/Experience:
- MBA preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Five (5) years proven experience in a similar position.
Work Authorization:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
