Division Manager:

The Division Manager will oversee the operation and quality control functions for the Utah division by monitoring the sector profitability, client satisfaction and employee retention. As a Division Manager you will be responsible for supervising 8-10 direct reports and general oversight of all field crews. The division manager must possess strong problem-solving skills, superior communication skills, and the ability to be visionary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct day-to-day activities of division staff in line with established policies, practices, and procedures
• Effectively manage overall planning and implementation of division projects
• Provide division with appropriate staff, resources, and direction required to fulfill business development, financial, estimating, and operational goals
• Oversee performance of design and construction phase of contract commitments to ensure profitability and timely execution of work
• Review, recommend and monitor annual and long-term budgets to ensure adherence to expense control and achievement of revenue projections
• Represent company in new business opportunities through contacts with parties who are a critical part of new project possibilities
• Secure follow-up work with existing clients based on exceptional performance

Qualifications:

• 
  3-5+ years experience of area/division management in oil and gas construction industry
• Advanced knowledge of processes in the oil and gas industry, preferably distribution and utility experience
• Effectively managed a small to midsize division resulting in completion of contracts within time and cost limits
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to coordinate and liaise with a variety of different professionals
• Project controls, which involves the ability to evaluate data and determine the needs of a project
• Strong judgment, to decide majorly for construction projects, hold staff accountable and be capable of making robust decisions while also fully understanding the implications
• Must be willing to travel to job sites and work additional hours as needed
