TITLE: Document Support Specialist
TYPE : Contact to Hire (4 month conversion)
LOCATION: Langhorne, PA
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID : Onsite
START DATE : May/June 2023
We are looking for a Document Support Specialist, that will be accountable for file preparations and correspondence with third parties to make certain a loan is funded adequately. This role examines all documents to make certain of accuracy and assists in timely fund transfers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review all title needs and recordable documents for insurability and authenticity.
- Follow up and check for corrections on delayed fundings, escalations, daily deposits, funding issues, stale checks, file balances, and funding exceptions.
- Develop Files for Funding.
- Send out payments, follow up on tax payments, scan documents, and take care of remittance corrections.
- Create and/or disperse wires for payment and printing checks.
- Partner with attorneys/partners/vendors to assist in the progress of funding loans in a timely manner.
- Disclose any errors, shortages, issues or funding discrepancies immediately.
- Check exception reports to correspond to customers regarding issues or delays.
- Assist on final funding process: booking or posting wires and deposits, overnight checks, wire confirmations and preparing FFD paperwork.
- Positive Pay and RDC Deposits.
- Ensure compliance with check and wire policies.
- Give support with stale checks and file balances.
- Assist with post-closing, recording, and policy as well.
- Oversee communications with borrowers and clients for trailing/corrections documents if needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of mortgage/title or financial company experience is preferred.
- Must be highly detail oriented.
- Must be able to perform well under pressure and meet goals, while providing exceptional internal and external customer service with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work individually and complete tasks with the guidelines of instructions given, standard accepted practices, and prescribed routines.
- Must have a working knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Windows, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and the Internet.
