SUMMARY
Within a team of several drivers, ensure the individual or collective transportation of people, as well as equipment, materials or mail in compliance with road safety and Malaysian traffic regulations, and in accordance with the procedures, rules and regulations of the Embassy with a company vehicle of the mission.

ACTIVITIES

1. Provide transportation of people:

• Driving of mission staff, visiting VIPs and guests ;
• Reception of missionaries and guests at the airport and their transfer during their stay and upon their departure ;
• Selection of the safest and most suitable route.

2. Perform courier duties:

• Delivery and Collection of mail, envelopes, miscellaneous goods to specified addresses and postal services ;
• Post office box collection ;
• Administrative procedures: payment of invoices, payment of social security contributions and taxes, etc. ...
• Contacts with public services, administrations and banks ;
• Deposit for cashing of checks at the bank, withdrawal of checkbooks and cash funds for the Embassy's office.

3. Ensure vehicle maintenance:

• Carrying out daily checks to ensure optimal maintenance of the vehicle's operation and all safety aspects (safety-related parts, body condition, inflation and condition of tires, oil and various necessary fluids, etc.) ;
• Checking the fuel tanks so that the vehicles are fully operational at all times ;
• Ensuring the cleanliness (interior and exterior) of the vehicles ;
• Technical follow-up of the vehicles and ensures that the maintenance and travel logs are properly kept ;
• Interventions on incidents: Drop off/removal of the vehicle to the garage for repair ;
• Triggering of periodic maintenance, overhauls, tires, lubricants, control of the execution of the maintenance.

• Staggered hours ;
• On-call periods (evenings and weekends) for emergencies ;
• Periods of high activity in case of vacations or absences of one or more drivers.
