Driver – Check In position. This position is responsible for maintaining and arranging all driver information upon drivers return.

Shift: 5 days a week to include Sunday!

Shift hours 2AM-10:30AM

This is located in Hauppauge, NY Arrange all paper work to make the driver check in position efficient.

• The time the driver returned and the time the driver started the run
• Write down all the items and quantity on the truck that are being returned on proper form
• Verify all tickets are signed and returned
• Any shorts damages, miss picks etc.… noted on the order should have proper form filled out by driver noting the reason for the return
• Verify what was physically returned on the truck matches the paperwork.
• Verify all COD’s are correct and lock in safe with proper paperwork. It should be placed in an envelope with the following information
• Keep the dock organized by stacking empty pallets in correct locations.
• Put all truck returns into the correct primary locations
• Maintain a list of any item without and primary and note the location where the item was placed so you can key into the system the next day.
• Do general housekeeping to assigned work area.
• Other duties as directed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years verifiable Warehouse experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.

• The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to manage paperwork, filing, and computer typing and using a telephone.
• The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of products and/or samples.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
