Position Summary:

Responsible for preserving a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, visitors and contractors of Florida Can Manufacturing by using standards and procedures established by federal and state regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the interior and exterior of the company’s physical facility to ensure that are following the safety standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections of employees, contractors and visitors to ensure compliance with the security standards established in the company.
  • Establish procedures to comply with federal and state regulations.
  • Train personnel in the established occupational health and safety standards.
  • Responsible for comparing the ergonomic equipment and informational material for different areas.
  • Comply with safety rules that ensure a risk-free environment for all employees.
  • Prepare the reports of the relevant regulatory agencies.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Follow and ensure compliance of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the current Food Safety System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Use personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Comply with the policies, procedures and processes established by Florida Can Manufacturing LLC.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of business administration with concentration in Management or associate degree in position related to sciences.
