Job Description Key Roles Performs product design & development and product testing. Assists his/her immediate superior or R&D HOD on technical issues, and guidance to technicians on PCB design & testing task. Supports supervisory, monitoring and verifying functions on technicians’ tasks. Key Responsibilities System design, software coding, hardware design and product testing according to the design guideline and standards. Provides technical supports related to products including engineering support for production, trial runs and field service quality matters. Perform design reviews to verify the product meets DIR and target cost. Carry out work in accordance to the approved development process flow and SOP. Ensure projects are completed timely as per product development schedule and provide regular status update to his/her immediate superior and R&D HOD. Ensure all documentation requirements are compiled as per R&D SOP. Provide supports in studying and reviewing customer requirements, including preliminary feasibility studies, customer enquiries, DIR reviews and product costing. Explores new technical areas as assigned by R&D HOD including competitor product studies. Carry out any other duties as directed by the company. Reporting To: Senior Engineer, R&D / Manager, R&D/ HOD, R&D Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic, Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent. Required skill(s) : MS Excel, MS Office, Visual Basic, Autocad, C++, Arduino. Required language(s) : Bahasa Melayu, English Optional language : Japanese / Mandarin At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Applicant must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
