We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Drawing Checker to join our dynamic team. As a Drawing Checker, you will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering drawings are accurate, complete, and in compliance with industry standards. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Review engineering drawings to ensure they are accurate and complete
• Verify that drawings are in compliance with industry standards such as ASME, y14.5-2009, and y14.5
• Check drawings for proper Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Tolerance Positioning and Dimensioning (TPD)
• Work with engineers and designers to resolve any issues or discrepancies found during the drawing checking process
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the drawing process and ensuring accuracy
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings checked and any issues found during the process
• Ensure that all drawings are properly labeled and organized for easy retrieval and use

Job Details
-

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Drawing Checker or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and their components
• Familiarity with ASME y14.5-2009 standards
• Proficient in GD&T and TPD
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers and designers
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in using drawing software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred but not required
