Job Description :

• To develop, implement and maintain Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) policies, procedures, and programs to ensure organizational compliance to all related acts, regulations, and standard requirements.
• To liaise and coordinate on all required activities with government authorities such as DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, JKKP etc. Keep up to date on all statutory Environment, Safety and Health requirements.
• To establish and carry out regular emergency drill such as fire drill, scheduled waste spillage, and confined space accident.
• To conduct regular audits on all first aid, emergency and fire fighting equipment and facilities to ensure regular replenishment, maintenance and inspection are being performed per schedule.

To conduct inspection on workplace and investigation on any incidents, accidents, occupational diseases or poisonings.
To monitor and enhance the overall environmental, occupational safety and health (ESH) performance of the organization.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess relevant certificates, Diploma in environmental / health / safety or equivalent.

At least 2 years’ experience as environment, safety & health executive in manufacturing environment.

• Familiar with latest Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, Factories and Machinery Act 1967, and Environmental Quality Act 1974.
• Knowledge in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 well be an added advantage.
• Candidate who possess CePSWaM certificate will be an added advantage.

For our furniture division, our integrated manufacturing plant in Melaka spans over 400,000 sq. ft and sits on a 15-acre land, with a total production capacity of more than 225,000 sets of furniture per annum. Our workforce is estimated to be approximately 600 people. We were one of the largest manufacturers of Wood-based products and Chair products in Malaysia. We serve major customers across the U.S. and Europe.
