Sr Equity Analyst
The Sr Equity Analyst is a part of TIAA Investment Management Group (IMG) organization and produces fundamental bottom-up equity investment ideas utilizing independent thought, primary research, and fact-based analysis.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Initiates and sustains deep-dive fundamental equity analysis of publicly traded securities.

  • Creates strong and consistent alpha applying a bottom-up, fundamental investment process.

  • Creates and proactively communicates investment recommendations on individual securities, as well as provide views on the attractiveness of relevant industries.

  • Constructs financial models and analysis on subject companies.

  • Interviews company management, sell-side analysts, and industry contacts via virtual and in-person meetings.

  • Prepares written reports on companies under coverage.

  • Recommends securities to included in the LC Core portfolio.

  • Contributes to broader thought leadership of the IMG team.

  • Ability to travel as needed to research conferences and/or client meetings.
Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional buy-side equity analysis experience.

  • 7+ years of professional buy-side equity analysis experience.
  • CFA designation and/or MBA.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as: Microsoft Office, and/or Bloomberg.
Base Pay Range: $131,300/yr. - $218,800/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
