Job Responsibilities:
1. Generate customer site addresses from known external map/internal databases/shared by Sales Account Managers
2. Working with Sales Account Managers to compile, consolidate and verify the site addresses as latest and up-to-date
3. Convert the addresses to Global Positioning Services Coordinates (Latitude/Longitude) information using relevant map tools into the solution requirement documents
4. To liaise with relevant internal teams for network availability
5. To check and verify infra-availability using Maxis’ internal tools for:
a. Fixed infra-availability (Wired / Wireless)
6. To liaise with Radio Transport team for:
a. Mobile coverage
7. To execute broadband infra checking:
a. Through internal and external portals
b. The checking should be detail enough, to cover as much sites as possible (i.e. be creative or details in keying in the address into the system)
8. Consolidate all the results of the infra-assessment to the respective Solution Architects/Presales
9. Develop automation tool to convert addresses to Latitude/Longitude
Experience requirement
- Familiar with Telecommunication infrastructure, products, and services
- Familiar with Google Map, or any similar mapping tools/software
- Able to write scripts with integration to Mapping APIs
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications – Excel especially
- At least 1-3 years working experience in Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) environment
- Creative and problem-solving attitude
Education requirement
- Diploma holder in IT/Telecommunication
- Programming/Scripting Languages
