Our client is a well-established public-listed company in Malaysia. The company comprises multi-business verticals namely Property, Construction, Manufacturing & Trading of Industrial Products.

Role: General Accounting / Cost Accounting

Responsibilities:

• To improve current financial reporting to be more informative other than financial information.
• To produce timely and accurate financial reports in the required time frame.
• To ensure the flow of financial information between the corporate holding company and the division holding company which provides for the specific accounting needs of both.
• To increase the value of accounts and finance activities by managing and optimizing resources more effectively.
• To liaise with regulation bodies, auditors, tax agents, and related suppliers to fulfil the requirements.
• To prepare corporate accounting for report submission, company budget, consolidated group accounts in compliance with regulations and managing of cash flow.
• To check for payments, CAPEX application or disposal of manufacturing division companies daily to ensure the payments are valid and attached with supporting documents.
• To be in charge of the accounts of private companies and account for the company’s provident fund.
• To assist in preparing information on an ad-hoc basis.
• To liaise with bankers on banking facilities matters for the group.

Requirements:

• The Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree
• At least 6 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
