Job Title: Finance Executive

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Remote Working)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Responsible for daily finance operations which includes timely issuance of invoices to clients, recording payables, processing of payments etc
• Supporting Malaysia and Korea Operations
• Assist in handling full sets of account (AP/AR/GL)
• Involve in monthly accounts closing, such as posting of month-end closing journal entries, preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, tax computations and other related matters
• Perform monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items (e.g. creditors, debtors, bank accounts, inter-company reconciliation etc)
• Assist in preparation of annual and quarterly re-forecast
• Assist in weekly P&L and cashflow statement
• Tracking of expenditure - staff claim expenses & fixed assets
• Statutory audits & tax filing: Prepare financial statement, accounting working papers, accounts analysis and supporting schedules
• Credit control for AR (including inter-company activities)
• Well-versed with WHT implications
• Supporting the Finance Manager and Executives with ad-hoc tasks when required

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

• 2 to 3 years of solid accounting experience
• Degree in Finance, Accounting
• Solid experience / knowledge in General Ledger
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CFA/CPA) is considered a plus
• Able to multitask and work with cross departments/countries
• Able to work and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Possess good and positive working attitude
• A team player with good communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Xero and Adaptive preferred
• Preferably someone from Marketing & Advertising / Finance Shared Services
• Jr Finance Executives are encouraged to apply
