The Job
- To ensure projects complete and submit on time
- To ensure project billings are issued to customers and payments collected
- To minimize the project costs overrun & accounts close out upon completion
Responsibilities
- To document project- related records
- Reviewing project budgets, work places and fee structures
- Create project accounts/code in the accounting system
- To perform project related journals on daily basis and project reports on monthly basis
- Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders
- Monitoring projects receivable income, such as ensure project billings are issued to customers based on agreed contract and payment collected.
- Review and investigate overhead charges to be applied to a project
- Report on project profitability to management
- Report to management on any opportunities for additional billings
- Report write-off any project-related billings that cannot be billed to or collected from customers
- Investigate all project expenses not billed to customers
- Close out project accounts upon project completion
- Compile information for internal and external auditors as required
- To perform/assist on ad-hoc works
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in engineering/manufacturing/construction
- Possess strong knowledge, skills and experience in managing and coordinating between QS and project team interfacing works at site
- Ability to work under minimum supervision, analytical and a good team player.
- Possess effective leadership qualities, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability in auditing the BOM of each of project costing
- Computer literate and with good spoken & written English. Applicants with Mandarin speaking are added advantage.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel to sites frequently.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens
Job Type: Internship
Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

- accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
