Finance Manager, SSC

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of Managers/Assistant Managers and Finance Executives, responsible for the provision of financial management services, reviewing reconciliations and facilitate consultation, issue resolution and timely accurate closing of all month end procedures.
  • Responsible for the overall finance operation functions of Booking to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Interco including meeting the Service Level Agreement (SLA) of each function
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial information and reports for statutory and management purposes including audit, tax and etc.
  • Ensure compliance of accounting/reporting treatment in line with Group requirements, General Affairs Policy and Procedures (GAPP)
  • Continuously review work processes to ensure efficient workflow to maximize staff efficiency
  • Own and update the SOP of the Finance Shared Services Center
  • Lead or implement new projects as necessary from time to time
  • Ensure and monitor proper internal controls for efficient assets management.
  • Identify, address and resolve any financial operational issues and suggest improvement plans to minimize the error reoccurrence.
  • Liaise and communicates efficiently with both external parties and internal teams
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.
  • Undertake further supervision of financial functions as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Professional Degree in Accounting/ ACCA/ CIMA and registered Chartered Accountant.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Finance Management including a Strategic Management Role.
  • Familiar with regional accounting standards, group consolidation, taxation and other regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
  • Multitasking and maintain composure in a stressful and demanding work environment.
  • Strong leadership traits in leading and inspiring teams for accurate and timely work completion.
  • Strong fluency in oral and written English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi ethnic, multi lingual and diverse work environment.
