About the job

We are looking for a full-stack developer for our digital in-house development team, who is eager to produce scalable software solutions and securing the IKEA Brand and our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”, by contributing with his/her technical expertise to secure an enhanced end-user experience. S/he will strengthen our development capabilities within a multi-disciplinary team, with expertise in both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. Bonus if you have some experience working with agile methodologies.

Your assignment

• Deliver well-functioning scalable digital solutions with focus on functionality, utility, and security, through development frameworks and third-party libraries.
• Secure thorough understanding of system architecture across our technical landscape (Ikano Retail package and Ikano Retail initiatives).
• Work closely with ‘Market fulfilment and services program’, digital product managers, digital in-house development team and other stakeholders to ideate digital products, through technical collaboration and understanding the impact of new developments on overall system landscape.
• Collaborate with different functions to proactively identify needs for adaptation and improvements, leading to a better user experience and business growth
• Accurate documentation of the developed solution with technical details and user manuals, in collaboration with super users, vendors and IT.

Your profile

• Prior experience as a full-stack developer with at least 5 years’ experience and familiar with common stacks
• You develop solutions with a commercial and practical mind-set, never loosing usability out of site
• You have strong knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, API, SEO, C#, Java, Laravel PHP, Python, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js), MySQL, web servers, UI/UX design
• You have relevant digital development experience, with a portfolio of good and intuitive web interfaces and responsive designs
• Enthusiastic and passionate about digital customer and end-user experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in English, written and spoken
