Your future employer is part of a group of companies that specialises in multiple services within the construction industry. They currently specialise in building materials, waterproofing, fireproofing, concrete repair & strengthening, etc. They are now seeking to set up a construction division to act as the main contractor for building projects. With that said, the are now seeking good talent to join their team as a General Manager to lead this new division.


about the job

• Act as the key contact person for the company
• Work together with Business Development Director to secure projects
• Managing the overall delivery of the project program in accordance with client expectations
• Managing sub contractors, Consultants and other strategic relationships
• Assigning resources to deliver works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards
• Monitoring and guiding work-flow, setting daily, weekly, and long term project goals
• Reviewing progress against plans, contractual arrangements, and delivery milestones
• Financial management including ensuring strong contract, commercial and financial risk management, accurate forecasting on costs and revenue, and taking corrective actions as required

skills and experience required

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant discipline
• 10 years+ site based experience
• Project Managers with good business acumen are encouraged to apply
