Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the site manager or other Site Supervisor as required.
• Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management, are met.
• Monitoring labor, building material, and equipment budgets and curbing unnecessary expenses.
• Supervising on-site construction work and relaying instructions from senior project managers.
• Reporting any concerns that might negatively impact projected cost and time estimates.
• Procuring materials, labor, and equipment, as well as third-party subcontractors and suppliers.
• Preparing work schedules and sequencing onsite tasks.
• Collaborating with other construction project stakeholders as required.
• Ensuring that construction industry safety regulations are followed.

Before the company started involving with Nirvana Asia Ltd.’s construction project, employees were specialized in establishing a large scale of landscaping works which includes fish ponds, man-made ponds & different kind of gardens varying from Mediterranean gardens to tropical gardens. In 1999, HCDC took over majority of Nirvana Asia Ltd.’s construction projects and became the main contractor for them.

HCDCSB demonstrated great commitment to every projects involving Nirvana Asia Ltd. in diversity of construction projects across Asia which includes Malaysia (Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Kedah, Penang, Johor, Sabah, Sarawak), China, Thailand & Jakarta ranging from burial plots, pavement, high-rise Chinese artistic temples, memorial gates, memorial arches, gazebo, Chinese pavilion & double-storey columbarium. Due to the previous expertise of their director, the company has also taken over the landscaping project for Nirvana in Thailand.
