- Location: Chula Vista, Fallbrook, Carlsbad, San Clemente
- Care Allianz Health Services is seeking per diem & part time experienced registered nurses.
- RN will be providing Home Infusion therapies at patient's home. This will be an exciting opportunity for RN!
- QUALIFICATIONS :
- Two years of nursing experience
- One year of infusion experience
- Home healthcare experience
- Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice
- Must have professional nursing liability insurance because this is a 1099 opportunity
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) required - Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- Willing and able to work independently in home or alternate-site settings - Must be moderately tech savvy, customer service oriented, organized. Must be willing to purchase own supplies
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills required, must be willing to build rapport and correspond with patient once connected by support team
- Strong IV skills - must be comfortable establishing PICC line / Port
- Must have personal transportation Must be willing to drive. Travel up to a 75 mile radius one way from your home
- Willingness to dedicate at least 16 hours per month in your area, if offered
- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Home Infusion Therapy. Document all interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment, assessment, treatments, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process, and training activities in a timely manner using company issued tools. The primary function of the Home Infusion Registered Nurse is to provide exceptional in-home IV infusion therapy, nursing care, and response management.
- Teach and trains for various medications .In addition, the Home Infusion Registered Nurse will administer and monitor patients in the home during treatment and provide the necessary education on treatment regimen, condition management and treatment self-administration when appropriate.
- Attend an Orientation/Training Call
- Complete trainings for new/specialty infusion therapies
- Provide patient clinical coordination in a variety of environments including patient's home, infusion suites, hospitals, and doctor offices
- Train patients in the self-administration of treatments and how to quickly recognize and respond to symptoms of adverse physical reactions to treatments
- Maintain open communication with your Nurse Manager, Staffing Coordinator and other team members regarding scheduling, patient assignments and clinical matters
- Coordinate with your Nurse Manager to address changes in patient condition or drug management issues .

Salary: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
