ENGIE Impact is seeking a bilingual HR Coordinator to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This role on the Americas HR team will primarily support ENGIE Impact businesses and employees based in Santiago, Chile and Mexico City, Mexico, with support to the US as needed. LATAM HR support will require regular interface and partnership with local HR contacts and proactive client service in each location.


This position is primarily remote, an ergonomic work-from-home office/dedicated area with appropriate internet and bandwidth to conduct business is required. Travel to business locations or team offsites is occasional ( ~10%).


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for a variety of administrative duties and in support of one or more HR functions including Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development and Employment policies. May include:
    • Talent Acquisition - Posting jobs, scheduling and coordinating interviews and travel, applicant screenings and onboarding activities.
    • Learning & Development – Scheduling and coordinating training.
    • HRIS – Employment verifications, general system inquiries and support, maintenance, auditing and reporting.
    • Compensation – General process and program inquiries and maintaining Job Description library.
    • Benefits – General process and system inquiries, providing benefits information.
    • Payroll – General process and information inquiries.
    • Employment policies and practices – respond to general inquiries from employees and managers.
  • May support with coordinating and sending employee communications.
  • Gain proficiency in regional benefits, employment laws and compliance expectations and guide leaders by providing information.
  • Act as first point of contact for inquiries into HR from internal and external clients by providing a high level of professionalism and promptly responding in accordance with our service delivery model.
  • Act as first point of contact with the HR Service Center to follow up when needed on employment transactions.
  • Responsible for data entry, verification, managing workflow, auditing, reporting within our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and intranet platform (SharePoint) to ensure highest level of data integrity.
  • Assesses inquiries, process flows and systems.
  • Coordinates continuous improvement efforts.
  • Administration and maintenance of assigned programs or projects.
  • May serve as project coordinator for HR projects and programs.
  • May assist in coordination of HR Team events, off-sites, meetings, lunches as part of the HR Team.
  • Other tasks include supporting compliance, vendor records, and other special projects as determined by the HRVP.
  • Handles all matters with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality while working comfortably in fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Required experience:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English. (Oral/Written)
  • Proficiency with MS Office: MS Word, PPT, Outlook, Excel, demonstrated success in a customer facing role.

Preferred Experience:

  • Two years post high school education.
  • Prior experience providing HR and administrative support and experience supporting multiple sites and/or providing international service delivery.
  • Prior experience using applicant tracking systems and HRIS system knowledge.
  • Eastern Standard Time zone preferred as this candidate will support working hours in Chile.

The Pay Range for this role is: $18.46-$27.68.


The listed salary range represents ENGIE’s good faith estimate and is based on a wide range of factors, including candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, seniority, and location. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
