Job Title: ETL Developer
Job Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia
Qualification: Degree in Computer Studies or equivalent

Responsibilities:
 Develop Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) solution using IBM DataStage for data movement / integration / cleansing and other data processing needs
 Develop UNIX shell scripts to manage file movement, table data housekeeping, email notification of server info and statistic reporting
 Propose ETL solutions for new business intelligence initiative & data integration initiative
 Work closely with the System Analyst and Solution Architect in new ETL solution envisioning/design/development/delivery
 Perform unit testing, integration testing and provide support to users in UAT phase
 Monitor daily ETL job operation, production recovery / troubleshooting and performance tuning
 Work closely with Application Developer, Project Manager to support IT projects & day-to-day system support
 Prepare business & technical documentation for ETL solutions
 Provide standby production support as Level 3 personnel

Requirement:
 Excellent implementation experience of IBM DataStage Server Edition version 7 & 8
 In-depth experience in UNIX shell script programming
 5 or more years of experience in full system development life cycle
 Strong understanding of data warehouse solution, data modeling and ETL architecture
 In-depth knowledge & database programming experience on IBM Informix/DB2 and Oracle RDBMS
 Past experience in implementation/development of BI tools
 Domain knowledge in insurance industry (an added advantage)
 Experience in DataStage upgrade project (an added advantage)
 Good experience in Windows batch script programming (an added advantage)
 Good understanding of other commercial ETL solution/software (an added advantage)
 Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
 Team player with strong self-initiative and ability to multi-task
 Detail-oriented independent individual and able to perform well under challenging timeline
 Possess outstanding professionalism with pleasant attitude and personality
