AMETEK Universal Analyzers Inc. is a leading provider of gas sample extraction, transport and conditioning systems for CEM (Continuous Emissions Monitoring) and process measurement.
We are looking for a knowledgeable Inside Sales Engineer who will work closely with the Sales, Engineering and Operations team to support company growth by uncovering and securing project opportunities with new and current customers. This position is pivotal to our business process and plays an important role in offering engineering, company, and customer expertise. The key to success of an Inside Sales Engineer is the ability to formulate an effective strategy which allows for winning projects, achieving acceptable profitability, and ensuring successful project management and execution.
- Allocate quotes to project estimators and estimators according to project complexity, risk, and value as well as personnel capability
- Ensure estimating activities successfully and proactively establish and account for scope, schedule, cost, and quality of all projects
- Develop staff savvy required to optimize customer experience and company profit on each order
- Foster a one-company, cooperative, and collaborative department spirit which partners with the rest of UAI-BA to win orders, facilitate project execution, and pursue continuous improvement
- Lead strategic and innovative developments for improving processes, products, and services
- Prepare and manage orders forecasts (based on expected order receipt schedules), and lead organization in achieving the forecast
- Provide regular formal and informal coaching of personnel to achieve the above
- Apply process improvement tools to identify measurable standards to improve business/reporting capabilities
- Develop and maintain departmental KPI’s with Analytic Data Analysis and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required
- Customer service or sales experience preferred.
- 3-5 years experience preferred
