Job description

This is a managerial role which require the person with strong experience leading a team of IT Helpdesk members in the day-to-day operation.

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Candidate with at least 5 years of working experience in IT helpdesk - software & application support as well as troubleshooting, and with some managerial working experience too.
• Provide IT helpdesk support via phone call, in-person, email and e-ticketing system
• Provide support for hardware and software installation and logged cases
• Maintain the inventory of all hardware, software licenses and parts
• Monitor and upkeep of OS, software version and patches
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects as and when required
• Proficient in spreadsheets and word processing
• Experience with networks in professional environment
• Familiar with the installation and troubleshooting of the existing mainstream system (Linux, MacOS and Windows system)
• Experience with administration of Servers (Windows, Mac, Linux)
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Excellent communications skills and service consciousness.
• Self-disciplined and capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
• Experience/exposure to insurance industry would be an added advantage.
