Job description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of working experience in IT support services industry is required for this position.
• Knowledge in computer hardware, computer/printer maintenance and computer networks.
• Strong command of spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The roles are to support the various responsibilities of the Information Technology Department including:

Research & Development

• IT Infrastructure and Security, Hardware & Sofware Usage.

Maintenance

• Scheduling the maintenance to ensure all equipment are in good working condition and network operating system is healthy.
• Managing the Backup and Restore processes and regularly tested.
• Review log and report to Management (monthly).
• Supervise server maintenance, security activities and monitoring WIFI, local area network (LAN) at KPC from viruses, intruders and hackers.

Software & Application Maintenance

• Managing the backup process for all application and databases.
• Managing the software and application from virus infection.

Managing Information Security Infrasructure

• To control number of security incident per month.
