Responsibilities:

• Proactive monitoring of network service uptime to ensure optimal network performance for business and end users.
• Provide technical support through various channels of verbal and written communication, and ensure the reported case is resolve within stipulated service level agreement.
• Troubleshoot network related issues and carry out repairs.
• Conduct periodic scheduled updates and maintenance service.
• Partner with other IT and support teams to analyse and identify the possible root cause for the reported issue.
• Collaborate with vendors and telecommunication service providers to troubleshoot and restore network related outage.
• Inspect data and voice cable lines to ensure that they are intact and working optimally.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignment as and when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM with Certificate or Diploma in IT or equivalent.
• Must be able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in network operations support.
• Must possess a basic understanding of computer network cabling.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure design, network hardware and telecommunication services.
• Proven experience as a network technician or relevant position.
• Good customer service skills.
• Willing to work on shift, weekend, public holidays and odd hours when required.
• Possess own transport and must be able to travel when required.
