Roles and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for java code development to ensure that the technical specification can be completed with high quality.

Job Requirements:

• 8years’ Java experience.
• Solid technical ability, understanding of IO, multithreading, collections, distribution system and other basic frameworks, familiar with servlet, spring, mybatis, velocity or any other template development.
• Familiar the popular java domain open-source framework, able to understand its principle and mechanism, and have online troubleshooting experience.
• Good understanding of both RDBMS & NoSQL database technologies such as Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, Redis or equivalent.
• Experience in RESTful API design, development and micro-service base architectures.
• Experience of containerization, ideally using Docker, Kubernetes. • Hands-on technical expertise, acquired through delivering Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Strong experience in DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven or equivalent.
• Good underwriting with message services such IBM MQ, Kafka or equivalent.
• Deeply understand the business requirement, able to draft technical specification.
• Familiar with Linux operating system and common java application server experience, like Tomcat, WebSphere or others.
• Strong problem resolves skills, good communication and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of the challenges and constraints of migrating from on-premise systems and platforms to Cloud based technologies.
• Business knowledge in insurance will be an advantage.
