Job description

We are currently hiring for a Classroom Teacher to join our team of educators. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating quality lesson plans, supporting students' social and emotional needs, and using innovative approaches in the classroom. An excellent classroom teacher will be sensitive and responsive to students' cultural diversity, as well as be familiar with the methods used to teach students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other teachers in the district.
• Teaching young children about important and challenging topics.
• Handling large groups of students.
• Dealing with bored or unruly children.
• Teaching and maintaining order in a classroom setting.
• Plan lessons and activities that demonstrate a clear learning objective and include appropriate materials, group activities, and opportunities for independent practice.
• Plan and manage learning time effectively to avoid wasting time, maintain class discipline, and covering all desired curriculum objectives.
• Meet with parents to discuss their child's progress.
• Be able to deal with unexpected problems calmly.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.95 - $19.83 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
