- Sunday - Saturday. Shifts are 11 pm - 7 am, 7 am - 3 pm, 3 pm - 11 pm
- LPNs observe, measure, and record clinical data, which is used by other health practitioners to make health care decisions. LPN' s can pass medications. LPNs identify health problems or changes in a person' s health status and determine whether immediate intervention is needed. LPNs must report these problems or changes in a timely manner to an RN or directing practitioner. LPNs are not legally allowed to take independent action to address the health problems or changes. LPN' S cannot perform clinical assessments. An LPN is not legally allowed to practice nursing independently or provide nursing care that the LPN is not personally competent to perform and must be under supervision of RN or another licensed pract
