Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Logistics Analyst located in Austin Tx.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager the Logistics Analyst will be Responsible for ensuring productivity, efficiency and management of various logistics operations. These operations may include, but are not limited to, tracking product shipments, contract negotiations, preparation of budget and cost analysis statements, creation of more efficient logistical planning, and coordination of shipments.
What a typical day looks like:
- Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
- Track product flow from origin to final delivery. Monitor flor of vehicles or inventory using logistics systems.
- Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and order fulfillment rates.
- Contact carriers for rates or schedules.
- Communicate with or monitor service providers, such as ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, global consolidators, customs brokers, or trucking companies
The experience we’re looking to add to our team,
- Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Requires 3 - 5 years of experience in materials or related field.
- Great Communication skills
- Microsoft office ( Excel, PPT).
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
- A background in manufacturing is desired.
- Knowledge of International logistics import / export process
