About The Job
Responsible for providing support to operation & logistics in coordinating import & export functions, order processing in a project-based environment.
Key tasks:
- Handle inbound and outbound logistics arrangement and liaise with forwarders to ensure the order requirements are met
- Booking of transport of project orders, documents, manuals etc.
- Execute correct shipping documentation in accordance with receiving country demand and Letter of Credit
- Following up on shipments according to Incoterms to ensure all standards are met, and proactively resolve non-conformances
- Booking of shipments (export, import and domestics) and work closely with internal and external parties to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Prepare custom declarations and coordinates the outbound movement of international freight shipments, especially containerized sea-freight.
- Prepare invoicing of project orders, review of freight invoices and maintain orderly record of documents
- Expedite purchased items from suppliers to ensure delivery on time to meet project schedule
What you know?
- Higher Diploma holder or above in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Supply Chain Management /Logistics Operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skill and a good team player
- Meticulous, eager to learn and a good team player
- Self-starter and able to work independently
