Job description

Responsibilities:

• Able to drive 40ft Lorry
• Run official errands, including delivery goods to customer, collection & delivery of materials, despatch of correspondence and documents in regard to the company.
• Drive the vehicles for conveyance of staff, materials and equipment in connection with the activities of the company.
• Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity.
• Clean and wash the vehicles on a regular basis as to maintain them in a tidy condition and maintain the vehicles in good running condition at all times.
• Check fuel level & credit balance of touch & go in vehicles before and after each errand and ensure timely replenishment of fuel level within office hours.
• Maintain knowledge of local and interstate routes.
• Monitor road, traffic and whether condition and take alternate routes where required.
• Deliver goods and install to their destination and take customer’s signature on receipts.
• Inform origin of delivery status and any additional information, such as customer complaints.
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance on lorry and ensure that vehicles fluids are sufficient.
• Report any serious mechanical problem to the concerned individual within the company.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by management and Perform any other duties when required.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have GDL (Bersendi) and E Licence
• Able to start work immediately
• Required Language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia and English
• At least 2-3 Year(s) of Working experience
• Familiarity with using navigation systems
• Time management to ensure deliveries are on schedule
• Able to travel outstation at short notice
• Independent and decisive
• Knowledge in handle forklift will be an advantage
